Rachel
She may look pathetic, and she was a few months ago, but not anymore ... this girl is rip-roarin' ready to go and meet her match! Rachel came to us the victim of a hit and run car accident, leaving her hobbling around with a broken elbow that cracked and crunched with her every step. Thanks to Friends of the Shelter and a very talented surgeon, Rachel's injuries were repaired and although a little 'heavier' in her left forelimb from some metal implants, she is pretty much good as new and eager to share adventures with anyone looking to take them with her. Rachel is crate trained, housebroken, eager to please, and full of spirit. She enjoys trips to the park, swimming, camping, hiking ... whatever you and the outdoors will offer ... but at the end of the day, she is a true snugglebug companion at heart, so don't let her tomboy-ish ways fool you. Rachel can be a little exuberant in her play, so not all canines appreciate her, but she does enjoy the company of others. CT and HB. Rachel is in foster care, please email Erin to meet her!
