Directions & Hours of Operation

The Franklin County Dog Shelter is open seven days a week for your convenience.

Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The Shelter is closed on all legal holidays, but is open on some county holidays.

The Shelter is OPEN Veterans Day, Friday November 11
1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Directions:

From the North End: Take 71 South or 315 South to 70 East. Exit at Alum Creek Drive, Exit 103B, and turn left off the exit. We are approximately one mile south on Alum Creek Drive. Turn right into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter. 

From the West Side: Take 70 East to Alum Creek Drive, Exit 103B. Turn left off the exit and follow Alum Creek approximately one mile south. Turn right into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter. 

From the Northeast Side: Take 270 South to 70 West. Take 70 West to the Livingston Avenue Exit. Turn left off the exit and the make another left at the first traffic light (Alum Creek Drive). Follow Alum Creek for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter. 

From the East Side: Take 70 West to the Livingston Creek Avenue Exit. Turn left, and then make another left at the first traffic light (Alum Creek Drive). Follow Alum Creek for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter. 

From the South East Side: Take 33 North to Route 104 West. Exit at the Alum Creek Drive exit and make a left at the traffic light. Go past the railroad tracks and look for Maryhaven on your left. Turn left into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter.  We are directly behind the Maryhaven building.

From the Grove City Area: Take 71 North to Frank Road (Route 104) East to the Alum Creek Drive exit. Turn left off the exit, and then make another left onto Alum Creek Drive. Go past the railroad tracks and look for Maryhaven on your left. Turn left into the East Service Complex. Follow the blue signs to the Dog Shelter.  We are directly behind the Maryhaven building.
