Your donations are always welcome at the
Franklin County Dog Shelter!!
   

We are always in need of
dog treats, extra towels, blankets, pet carriers, shampoo, canned or soft dog food, smooth/creamy peanut butter, kongs and other toys or any other dog related items. When you clean out your closets and have some extra old towels and blankets, just drop them off at the Dog Shelter during the Shelter office hours.
We can always use your recycled newspapers.  We use them to line the bottoms of the cages and we use approximately a mini-van full of papers every single day!

If your school, club, brownie troop, organization or group can collect newspapers for us and periodically drop them off at the shelter, we would be ever so grateful.   Newspapers may be dropped off at the backdoor during business hours, or deposited in the big tractor trailer parked behind the shelter 24 hours a day.

We are not allotted money directly from your tax dollars.
Our operating income is from the sale of dog tags, adoptions, redemptions, and donations. Franklin County Commissioners keep the Shelter in operation
with the extra funds we need to continue to serve the community.
