All stray or lost dogs found within Franklin County are brought here to be reclaimed by their owners. If you have lost a dog, please visit us in person immediately to file a lost dog report and look for your dog. Bring proof of license and rabies immunizations with you.

Remember, you need proof of rabies immunization to buy a license.

Mingle With Our Mutts
 on Sunday, February 5 ~ Noon-2 pm

New or gently used leashes and collars of any size would be greatly appreciated!

New or gently used blankets, towels, soft bedding are needed to help us furnish the adoption rooms in our new shelter. Bedding may be dropped off at the shelter anytime during business hours.

Dog beds are great, but unfortunately our washing machine is small and cannot accomodate larger dog beds. If you have a commercial size/large capacity washing machine that you would like to donate to the shelter, please call or email us.

Donations of Kong toys and other durable
interactive toys are appreciated!
Also cream cheese and cat litter.

Dog food donations for our community pet food pantry may be dropped off at the shelter anytime... we accept partial bags, too.
Dry dog food especially needed!

We are one of the largest shelters in the midwest with many dogs and puppies available for adoption daily.  Visit us and you will find dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, including many pure breeds, too!

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. Our website is updated daily so check back often.
