This tubby man is so happy-go-lucky that he will brighten the lives of everyone he meets! Unfortunately, after three years, his owners turned him into the shelter because they were having a baby. He was kept confined to a room for 12 hours a day so he is eager to find a new home that will spend more time with him. Active, energetic, and loads of fun, Bandit would be a wonderful dog for any active family. He is very obedient and smart too. He is already housebroken and knows many commands including: sit, down, come, shake, and speak! Come and meet this roly-poly black and white guy today and you will fall in love!

Berg loves to smile and typically wiggles everywhere he goes!
The Berg is a cute, fun, social guy ... He is a great little package! Berg came to the shelter broken, obviously the product of someone's negligence and then disregard for his quality of life as they allowed him to drag a badly fractured back leg along with his every step. He came in as a stray with a femur fracture. X-rays were taken to determine extent and location of break.Fortunately for Berg, the generous donors of Friends of the Shelter never needed to meet him in person before they unanimously supported efforts to get his leg fixed to enable him the opportunity to find a new home worthy of his antics, his affections, and his forgiving optimistic spirit! They also paid for ortho surgery which involved internal hardware to repair, and he has been recovering on cage rest since. Although not obvious in his pictures, Berg loves to smile and typically wiggles everywhere he goes! Berg is crate trained and working on housebreaking, but that is definitely a challenge with his extensive cage rest requirements. Berg is currently passing his days gnawing on nylabones, peanut butter kongs, and busy budy bones! Vet reference required for adoption. No kids under six years. Fenced yard strongly recommended.

Affectionate, dramatic and full of life! Red does everything with gusto!
Red came to the shelter underweight and under socialized. She has since grown into a BEAUTIFUL young girl. A work in progress, Red knows sit, shake AND 'high five'. She's also housebroken and crate-trained. Red likes other dogs although her excited play style can be overwhelming to some. Red is very smart and eager to please. She would like to continue her 'higher education' to learn all of her manners in 'school'. Red is affectionate and sweet and would love to join a dog-savvy family who would help her to continue to blossom. Red likes kids. Her ideal family would be experienced, active, with a fenced yard and other dogs.
