The shelter always needs volunteers! Whether it's walking the dogs, assisting with adoptions or taking web photos, volunteers help the shelter in many important ways. |

| We can always use old towels, blankets and sheets to make our dogs more comfortable. Puppy pads and Kong toys are great, too! |

Support Friends of the Shelter
Friends of the Shelter is a non-profit organization founded to help raise money for programs that directly benefit the dogs at the shelter. Your donations are tax-deductible. |

Carl's Birthday Gift!
For Carl's eighth birthday, he asked for donations instead of gifts. He brought us tons of toys and other items for the dogs, as well as a donation for Friend of the Shelter. Thank you, Carl! |
Lillian's Birthday Gift!
Lillian asked for presents for the dogs instead of for herself on her 7th birthday. Lillian and her dad brought in a whole bunch of toys for the dogs to enjoy. Pedro is pictured with her. |

Special Thanks To Boston's! "Drinking for Dogs" raised more than $7,500 in donations and tips for Friends of the Shelter!

Take Your Dog To Work Day Employees at Online Computer Library Center in Dublin raised money for the shelter and had fun in the process.
Each donated $5 to Friends of the Shelter participate in Take Your Dog To Work Day. Activities included a lunchtime group dog walk outside. |

Thank you (from left) Isaiah, Ellie, Jeff McDaniel, Maggie and Maya!! After seeing a news story about the shelter, they decided to help out the dogs! One quick trip to the hardware store later, they made seven dog beds for the dogs to lay more comfortably in their cages!! |
